It’s called the Ti 9 but we just call it the T9 in obvious reference to the TaylorMade™ R9™

This is a beautiful head; it has a jet black crown with a satin finish on the face and hosel band. The sole has a high polish mirror finish with white accents and of course the 3 weight screws. It does not have the interchangeable hosel, but it is a full 460 cc’s verses the R9 which is near the 420 to 440 cc range so this is bigger and more forgiving and should have a much higher moi.

Can you say 2.62 mm face thickness? Yeah baby, that is the story here, we haven’t measured an R9™ yet but the next time we get one in for a re shaft we will, but I will guarantee you it is not as thin as this baby. The only driver that we have ever tested with a thinner face than this is a Vector.

It’s very pleasing at address, it sets up nice and square and looks like a traditional shape from the top, it’s only when you turn it over and have a look at the sole that you notice the high MOI bullet shape.
